The Oscars, the epitome of glamour and sophistication, not only showcasing the best of the best in the film industry, but also set the stage for the latest fashion and jewelry trends. As stars graced the red carpet at the most anticipated pop culture event of the year, they adorned themselves with the latest dress and jewelry fashion’s hoping to make a mark and become the latest trend setter. Unlike the Grammys which was highlighted with diamonds and white metals, the Oscars featured colored gems, gold, and metallic styles at its red carpet.

High end styles of diamond jewelry from DeBeers, Bucherer, Tiffany & Co, and Boucheron were represented well. However, not to be outdone were both necklaces and statement earrings flowing with color along with the timelessness of Pearls and flare of metal stacked bracelets.

It was a red carpet like none other filled with boldness, individuality, and grace. Best Jewelry:

1. Charlize Theron

Charlize is wearing quite a few pieces from Boucheron Designs highlighted by all white gold and diamonds from the brand new Quatre Radiant Edition collection. Her ensemble consists of a wide choker, a clavicle-length necklace, long earrings, an ear cuff, either two or three bracelets, and at least two diamond rings. Of those that could be identified, she appears to be wearing the Boucheron Quatre Radiant Edition Pendant Earrings (listed online for $84,900) and the Quatre Radiant Edition Necklace (listed online for $253,000), which is the second, longer necklace. Charlize might not have been there to receive any awards, but she definitely left her mark with her choice of style and accessories.

2. Zooey Deschanel

Although her earrings and rings were beautiful, it was the limited edition Willow Bangle Bracelet from Brilliant Earth worn by Zooey that got her 3rd place on my list. Her minimalist yet modern approach was the perfect combo to her Art-Deco feeling dress. This stack was woven from white gold featuring subtle curves resting perfect on her wrist. If you have ever wondered how jewelry can make the entire outfit, just take a look at how she compliments her stack with her dress and solid black pumps.

3. Ariana Grande

Once you get past Ariana’s natural beauty and signature sleek cat-eye with a ponytail look, you find one of the most beautiful morganite and diamond earring and pendant sets you will ever find. I immediately fell in love with her modern version of the choker and slide look that was so popular around 2010. I would also be remised if I didn’t mention the curls at the end of the ponytail, everything about her look this year screams “You look Fabulous Darling.”

4. Cynthia Erivo

Holy statement earrings! Cynthia was wearing a pearl drop earring with tsavorite, and diamonds valued at $45,000. This look was so big, you barely noticed the other 8 earrings she was wearing. Not surprising she rocked us so hard with this look, as she is a known jewelry lover and collector. Congratulations to Cynthia for receiving the high honor and receiving a Gem Award this year.

5. Greta Lee

Greta upped the glamour and look of her gorgeous gown (almost made honorable mention for best dressed) with diamond encrusted drop platinum paper-clip earrings.  She dazzled us with a Tiffany Archives diamond and emerald bracelet, which was a great way to transition to the platinum diamond and green tourmaline ring going solo on her index finger.
